The best place to learn about EFT is via www.emofree.com. This very comprehensive site belongs to Gary Craig the founder of EFT and through it you can down load his free manual. Gary also offers educational dvds at a very reasonable price. In them you see him work with many people and many different issues, and of course you can watch them over and over. His empathy, enthusiasm, sense of humour and compassion shine through. It has come to my attention recently, that not all EFT practitioners seem to understand this technique quite as well as they should, so I strongly recommend learning (at least in the first instance) from the man himself. Hi Barbara, I have recently come across EFT, downloaded Gary's manual, and am having some great success with it. I would like my wife Sarah to try it on her spring time allergies - which case lots of phlegm, coughing etc in the morning sometimes itchy eyes. What is the best way to approach this subject? Could it be "emotional baggage" from the past that could be part of the cause? - or just visualise not having a reaction to, or having a healthy body, or whatever? Regards John and Sarah

Hi John & Sarah, Firstly my apologies for the delay in replying to you. Glad to hear you have Gary's manual.
The allergies could of course have an emotional root, they could also be caused by energy toxins, i.e. anything in the environment, or anything that you wear, eat, drink etc. If it is possible to identify what was going on at the time the allergies started, or the circumstances that surround the worst attacks, that will help you identifiy the possible emotional roots of the problem.
The other option is simply to tap for the symptoms themselves, and how they make you feel. If however the cause is energy toxins, it would be helpful to identify and treat for them. Muscle testing is a good way to identify what substance is causing the problem and it is often something that we particularly like, be it food or even jewellry.
I wish you the best of luck, if I can be of further assistance don't hesitate to get in touch.
Blessings Barbara

Hi John & Sarah,
I, too, am an EFT student of Gary Craig and have seen some pretty amazing things happen with its use. It is interesting how many different ways a problem can be tackled and eliminated. For myself personally, if I were to have a health problem, I'd use every means possible. So for this reason, in addition to using EFT, may I suggest a possible dietary change, just in case the obvious has been overlooked? Sugar is a huge culprit when it comes to allergies. I know both from my studies and from personal experience. If Sarah will eliminate ALL sugar from her diet, my guess is she will see a significant difference in her allergies, if not a complete elimination of them. Remember, sugar comes under many names and is in almost every processed food on the planet. It's a big step for people used to eating the "Standard American Diet" (SAD), but VERY worthwhile.
